Archbishop COU Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu visits Sebei Diocese

Archbishop COU Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu visits Sebei Diocese

Archbishop COU Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu on the weekend of 14th November visited Sebei Diocese in Kapchorwa where he was able to commission a number of projects and most importantly, preach the gospel.

He broke the ground for the construction of the Sebei Diocese Mothers Union Resource Center at the Diocesan Secretariat. Mothers Union play a very important role in the development of the Province, commissioned the MCDF administration block and planted trees at St. Peters school of nursing and midwifery formally known as Sebei school of nursing and midwifery Kapchorwa and later visited Kapchorwa Primary Teachers College and plants a tree and the administrator raised concern to him that their PTC was going to be phased out by the ministry yet it’s the only one in the sebei region.

On Sunday, we had a very joyous Service today at St. Peter's Cathedral Kokwomurya in Sebei Diocese where Archbishop Kaziimba Mugalu was the main celebrant as Bishop Paul Kiptoo Masaba was giving thanks to God for the Seven years of episcopal ministry. Later in the evening, we had a tour of the National High Altitude Training Center in Teriet, Kapchorwa District where we walked for close to two kilometres. It was a good exercise after a long day of ministry. The Archbishop thanked the Diocese for establishing this beautiful sports training facility and concluded by thanking brother Bishop Paul Kiptoo Masaba and Maama Agnes, the clergy and all people that welcomed him.
