
Archbishop Kaziimba launches first Braile - Bible in Lango
In his visit to the central Wing of the Diocese, Archbishop of church of Uganda Dr. Stephen Kaziimba commissioned the Sira Dongo Mission of Hope House, named after the first missionary Rev. Can. Sira Dongo who is believed to have brought the gospel to Lango.
The Archbishop also launched the very first Lango Brail bible, and this was graced by the Bible Society of Uganda. The Minister of Health Hon Dr Jane Ruth Achenge who is also the District Woman Member of Parliament for Lira city who was in attendance of the archbishop’s pastoral visit to the diocese has called upon Ugandans to continue observing the SOPs for Ebola as it is a collective effort to kick Ebola out of the country. She applauded the districts of Mubende and Kassanda for the progress registered in the small numbers of infected cases.
