
Kabale Murdered Electrician’s Family Seeks Justice For Their Son
The family members of a 30-year-old electrician Conrad Ninsiima, who was killed and his body dumped in Nyamabare cell in Kabale Municipality are crying for justice.
They have asked the police to speed up investigations into the matter so that the killers are prosecuted and they get justice for their brother.
The deceased was reportedly killed by the gang in a suspected case of blood ritual sacrifice. The Police are holding five suspects in relation to the murder as investigations continue.
The suspects in police custody include the proprietor of Bombocha Bar and Lodges, Ponsiano Besigye, and his two staff members - Ben Kakuru, and Sam Niwahereza. Others are the manager of standard hotel, Medard Atwebembeire, and Amos Turinawe, a resident of Nyamweru Sub-county.
According to Ninsiima’s widow Christine Natukwasa, Ninsiima left home at 8 am on 05th May 2023 and was never seen alive again.
The widow said that she had one child with the deceased though he left behind 3 children in total.
Dinah Tumuhimbise, a sister to the deceased, said that her younger brother was a reserved person who could not involve himself in any wrangle.
The Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson Elly Maate confirmed that the deceased was cut in the neck and his blood was suspected to have been collected.
Maate said that this is the first time in the Kigezi region that they record a case of murder that involves blood sacrifice.
