Ministry Of Health To Roll Out Mass Yellow Fever Vaccination
The Ministry of Health is set to roll out a mass vaccination exercise for yellow fever across 51 districts of Uganda. The exercise which kicks off on 8th June 2023 in Lira City will target the districts where yellow fever cases have been reported before
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Diana Atwiine, said that they will be giving the single shot doze to persons ranging from nine month old babies to 60-year olds.
The vaccination drive will also include refugees and communities at border points.
