Ntare School Marks 70 Years Of Leadership And Excellence:Alumni Invest In Science And Technology To Prepare Future Leaders.School Celebrates Seven Decades Of Shaping Uganda's Leaders
For seven decades, Ntare School has shaped generations of leaders through academic excellence, discipline, and character formation. As the institution celebrates its 70th anniversary, alumni and school leaders are using the milestone to invest in science, technology, and innovation that will prepare learners for the future.
For 70 years, Ntare School has built a reputation as one of Uganda's leading institutions, producing distinguished leaders in public service, business, academia, and other sectors while maintaining a strong culture of discipline, excellence, and service.
School administrators say the institution's success is rooted in an inclusive environment where students from diverse religious, cultural, and national backgrounds learn together, develop lifelong friendships, and embrace values that extend beyond the classroom.
Rwampororo said the school's mission goes beyond academic performance, noting that every learner leaves with leadership values, confidence, and networks that continue to shape their lives long after graduation.
As the school marks its platinum jubilee, alumni say the celebrations are also an opportunity to invest in Ntare's future by strengthening science, technology, and innovation facilities.
Former minister and Ntare Old Boy, Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye, said plans are underway to enhance practical learning through modern science laboratories and technology centers that will equip learners with skills needed in a rapidly evolving world.
He said the investments are intended to nurture innovators, entrepreneurs, and problem-solvers capable of competing both locally and internationally.
Chairperson of the Ntare Old Boys Association, Apollo Kashanku, said the anniversary celebrations will bring together alumni from different generations to celebrate the school's legacy and contribution to national development, with President Yoweri Museveni expected to officiate as Chief Guest.
As Ntare School celebrates 70 years of leadership and excellence, its focus remains on preserving a rich legacy while investing in science, technology, and innovation to prepare the next generation of leaders for the future.
