The RDC Fred Badda asked those coming from Kampala to obey the rules that were put in place to prevent Ebola,, especially when they board boats or ferries, because they don’t want the disease to spread.
Dr. Rosemary Nansubuga Sseninde, a leader in NRM who came to campaign for Aida, comforted the people of Kalangala over the loss of their child Hellen Nakimuli. She said they were working well together even if she was on the opposing side and encouraged the people of this district to vote for NRM’s Aida this time.

Nabayigga Aida, the candidate for NRM in Kalangala, asked the members of her party to be united in order for the party to secure the win.
She points out one of the challenges being the many scattered islands in Kalangala, which makes it difficult to reach them, and she asks the party leaders to support her.
