President Museveni ready for phase two operation against ADF in Congo
The President of the Republic of Uganda has assured the Democratic Republic of Congo of total peace and called for unity in the fight against the ADF in Congo.
President Museveni was addressing a delegation of security chiefs from the Democratic Republic of Congo at State Lodge Nakasero on Sunday.
During the meeting, Ugandan Minister for Defence and Veteran Affairs, Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja and DRC Defence Minister Gilbert Kurhenga Kabanda signed the bilateral general agreement on Defence cooperation that will ensure joint operations between the armies of both countries.
Dr. Kabanda, DRC Defence Minister thanked President Museveni for his role in ensuring peace in the region.
