Prime Minister Meets Wakiso Leaders On Service Delivery

Today, Prime Minister Robinah Nabanja launched a nationwide tour to assess government service delivery, beginning with an engagement with leaders in Wakiso District.

During the meeting, the prime minister acknowledged the government's ongoing efforts to support the people of Wakiso, highlighting significant investments in key sectors such as health, education, and the Parish Development Model (PDM).

She credited the National Resistance Movement (NRM) for its continued commitment to funding improvements in public service delivery across the country.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Nabanja underscored the importance of accountability, stating that she will personally inspect all areas where government funds have been allocated.

The tour is expected to cover all districts as part of a broader initiative to monitor service delivery and promote transparency in the use of public resources.

Prime Minister Nabanja noted that the government has contributed up to 90 percent toward improving the well-being of citizens, emphasizing the need for effective implementation at all levels.

Rosemary Nansubuga Seninde has urged leaders in Wakiso to express gratitude to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his continued efforts to improve the well-being of Ugandan citizens.

However, she cautioned the NRM party to be mindful of internal divisions, warning that such conflicts, often driven by greed for money ahead of the upcoming general elections, could foster hatred and weaken party unity.
