
Wives of Archdeacons in North Ankole Diocese Engage in Empowering Retreat Session on Family Leadership
On May 27th, 2025, the wives of archdeacons in North Ankole Diocese gathered for a special day during the ongoing retreat for archdeacons and their spouses in North Kigezi Diocese. The event featured separate sessions for the wives, led by Norah Tukahirwa, the Mothers Union President of North Ankole Diocese.
During the session, Norah addressed the vital topic: "Wife of an Archdeacon: A Family Head and Partner." Her insightful discussion emphasized the crucial role of these women as family leaders and partners, highlighting qualities of strength, compassion, and faith that contribute to the well-being of their families and communities.
The retreat provided a platform for spiritual growth, fellowship, and empowerment, reinforcing the importance of family values and leadership among the spouses of church leaders. The day was marked by inspiration, meaningful interactions, and a shared commitment to uplifting family life within the church community.
