Women Urged To Respect Their Men

Hundreds of women from different parts of the South Western region today flocked Mbarara High School grounds to attend Women’s Day of Prayer and Fasting.

The conference which was organized by Ankole diocese attracted women of all age groups.

The Vice President of Mothers Union for the Province of the Church of Uganda Dr. Alice Mwesigwa, while addressing a congregation as keynote speaker at a women conference Mbarara High School urged women irrespective of their status, to respect their husbands.

The President of Mothers Union in Ankole diocese Dr. Jenina Mwesigye revealed that her docket is working out plans to spearhead mindset change amongst as means to curb wrong behavior.

Mary Asiimwe from Holy Spirit Fire Church and several other women hailed Ankole diocese for organizing a non-denominational women conference which they termed as a great platform that will help to bring together all Ugandans in building stronger societies and homes.
