PRIMA

In a service organized at All Saints Cathedral, Kampala for a mass wedding that saw 14 couples being wed today, the Archbishop of COU, the Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Stephen Kaziimba-Mugalu emphasized the need for couples to understand that marriage is an institution that consists of two major characters: husband and wife.

He advised the couples to desist from involving other people in their affairs and only turn to God, applauding the newlyweds for embracing mass wedding.

It was a joyous morning at All Saints Cathedral, Kampala as 14 couples walked down the aisle to fulfill the sacrament of Holy matrimony.

Preaching during the mass wedding, the Archbishop of COU, the Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Stephen Kaziimba-Mugalu applauded the individuals on their decision to settle down and get married, asking them to keep the union pure.

The Archbishop advised the newlyweds to keep their affairs to themselves and not involve outsiders.

Kaziimba Mugalu mentioned that a successful marriage is not about big ceremonies but a God ordained duty man and woman ought to fulfill.

With reference to the teaching in the book of 1st Corinthians 13, he urged the married to stay committed to one another and not turn to adultery despite shortcomings.

Some of the newlyweds had something to say on their special day.
