2 Days To The International Women’s Day

2 Days To The International Women’s Day

State Minister for Information, Communication, and Technology Hon. Joyce Nabosa Ssebugwawo has asked women in the country to reflect on their achievements and challenges they have encountered as they await celebrations of International Women’s Day this week on Saturday.

Minister Nabbosa made the call while speaking to journalists in Kampala ahead of International Women’s Day.

With just 2 days to celebrate international Women’s Day, which will be celebrated in Kyankwanzi District, State Minister for ICT Hon Joyce Nabosa Sebugwawo has urged the women in the country to reflect on what they’ve put in place in terms of developing themselves and identifying missing Gaps

Hon. Sebugwawo urged women to show their capabilities in different activities, including those considered male-dominated, and stop despising themselves. She also says that men should be supportive of women and stop undermining women.

She urged them to ensure that they play their role of building good behavior among their children by giving them time to discuss family matters.

She raised concern about parents allowing their children to get too exposed to social media, especially watching unnecessary content, which has negatively affected them.
