Church of Uganda Family TV Launches Luganda News Bulletin ‘Amafeffette’ with High-Level Support

A moment of pride and spiritual renewal unfolded as the Church of Uganda Family TV officially launched its latest Luganda news bulletin, ‘Amafeffette,’ in a vibrant ceremony attended by prominent dignitaries, clergy, and supporters. The event signifies a pivotal step in faith-driven journalism, emphasizing local voices, cultural pride, and the spreading of the Gospel through media.

The launch was blessed by the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, the Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, who praised the initiative as a crucial platform for community engagement and spiritual growth. “This new chapter in faith-based journalism will help our people stay informed and spiritually connected,” he remarked.

Representing the Buganda Kingdom, the Speaker of the Buganda Lukiiko, Owek. Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule, officially inaugurated ‘Amafeffette,’ emphasizing unity and collective effort in spreading the Gospel nationwide. In his speech, he called on the public to support these efforts and uplift each other in faith.

Owek. Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule stated, “Supporting each other and working together is essential as we aim to spread the good news across Uganda. This bulletin will serve as a voice of hope and faith for all.”

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda expressed his gratitude to Owek. Mugumbule for his representation and encouraged Christians and the general public to support Family TV’s efforts. “All good things require appreciation and support, especially when they serve God’s purpose,” he said.

The event marks a significant milestone for faith-based media in Uganda, reinforcing the importance of journalism rooted in spiritual principles and community values.
