President Of The Worldwide Mothers’ Union Harper Visits Uganda
The President of the World Wide Mothers Union Mrs. Sheran -Harper is in Uganda for an official visit, to have fellowship with the Mothers in Uganda.
The President of Mothers` Union in the Province of Church of Uganda Mrs. Grace Murengyezi expressed gratitude and happiness to have their leader visit them in a period where they are celebrating Mary’s day.
Mrs. Murengyezi was confident that the mothers will learn a lot from their global leader, for the good of their families and dioceses.
The President of the World Wide Mothers Union Mrs. Sheran –Harper landed at Entebbe International Airport Uganda on the night of 25th April 2023.
This morning, Mrs. Harper visited the Church of Uganda Provincial Secretariat on Namirembe Hill where she toured various development projects initiated by the Mothers Union including the Nursery School & Crafts Shop. Mrs. Harper appreciated the work done by the Mothers Union and urged them to remain steadfast in Christ in all spheres of life.
The Worldwide Mothers Union President comes to Uganda during the period when the Anglican Church is celebrating the Feast of Annunciation, which is observed on March 25th. This day commemorates the announcement of the Angel Gabriel to Mary that she would conceive and give birth to Jesus, the Messiah.
