
The Most. Rev. Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba's visits West Buganda Diocese
MASAKA: Archbishop of the province of the Church of Uganda, The Most. Rev. Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba arrived in West Buganda Diocese for his official pastoral visit on the morning of Friday 18th November.
He was received at Lukaya by Bishop Henry Katumba Tamale and Mama Rev. Canon Elizabeth Katumba, Clergy, and jubilant Christians, he led a Service at St Paul's Cathedral, Kako assisted by Bishop Henry Katumba Tamale.
Shortly after Service, Archbishop Kaziimba unveiled a commemoration stone for his memorable visit to St. Paul's cathedral Kako.
He was able to visit the church projects such as the coffee bed and plantation and also the 5-stair building which is still under construction but already in use by the Equity Bank who are their tenants.
The main service was held on Sunday 20th November at St. Stephens COU Kasambya Archdeaconry, Lyantonde district and on his arrival for the service, he began with planting trees for his memorable visit to St. Stepehen`s. Kaziimba called upon Christians to support church projects for the development of Anglican churches.
Later he thanked Bishop Katumba Tamale & the Cathedral leadership team for the arrangement and said he was honoured to meet Prime Minister Emeritus, Kintu Musoke.
